Implementation Challenges (Pain Points):
– Curving the Cylinder: The red body and the neck require consistent paper rolling techniques to avoid unwanted creases. Failure to pre-curve the paper properly will result in a dented or “boxy” appearance.
– Glue Tabs (Teeth): The base and lid components feature many small triangular glue tabs. Precise cutting and careful glue application are necessary to ensure the bottom stays flat and stable.
– Handle Assembly: The black handle strip is narrow; it requires steady hands to glue without leaving visible adhesive residue on the printed surface.
Advice:
– Before gluing, use the edge of a ruler or the barrel of a pen to pre-roll the parts into a circular shape.
– I highly recommend Edge Coloring (using a red or grey marker to tint the white edges of the paper after cutting). This hides the raw paper seams and gives the final model a polished, “solid” look.
